Elizabeth “Lisa” Peck
has over 30 years of employment & civil rights law experience and is recognized as a tenacious advocate for employee rights. She has been voted a Super Lawyer by her peers every year since 2007, first in the Intermountain States and now in Northern California. In 2011, the Utah State Bar recognized her as Utah’s Labor & Employment Lawyer of the Year. In 2018, Lisa was selected by the National Law Journal as one of only two finalists for its award, Elite Trial Lawyer of 2018, in the category of gender discrimination.
Lisa launched her legal career in 1992 as a litigation associate at Salt Lake City’s prestigious commercial law firm, Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler. She spent six years representing employers against such claims as discrimination, harassment and civil rights violations. Then, Lisa moved across the aisle and opened PECK-LAW, Employment & Civil Rights, where she quickly became recognized as an advocate for employee rights.
Admitted to the California State Bar in 2012, Lisa now practices in both California and Utah. She has been voted a Northern California SuperLawyer since 2014. She is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (“CELA”), the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Santa Cruz County Bar Association, and she is President of the Santa Cruz County Trial Lawyers Association. Lisa is a frequent presenter of continuing legal education seminars in the areas of employment law and trial skills, and she has been a trainer at CELA’s annual Trial College for the last several years. Lisa is devoted to raising the bar and encouraging creativity when it comes to employment rights advocacy – not just in her own practice, but everywhere.
Lisa has her Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. While there, she won the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law, and was honored as a William H. Leary Scholar for placing in the top 20% of her class. Lisa was Articles Editor for The Journal of Contemporary Law, and a Teacher’s Assistant in Legal Writing. She earned a BA in English at Amherst College, where she was Captain of the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team. Post-grad, Lisa continued to play Club Lacrosse in Utah and then California, and she spent several years coaching: first for Park City (Utah) High School’s varsity girls’ lacrosse team, and more recently for the University of California at Santa Cruz women’s lacrosse team – helping to bring both teams to podium finishes in their league championships.
A former sponsored professional mountain bike racer and competitive skier, Lisa heads out to mountain trails with the office law-dogs, Fischer and Sophie, whenever possible. Her favorite color is winner’s circle blue.
Of Counsel
Kevin SchwinKevin Schwin has been representing employees in employment law cases since 2009. He earned a B.B.S. in Human Resource Management from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2005. He graduated from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law cum laude with a J.D. Concentration in Labor and Employment Law in 2008.
While in law school, Kevin served as President of his law school’s Employment and Labor Law Association. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Torts. He wrote a law review note titled, “Toward a Plain Meaning Approach to Analyzing Title VII: Employment Discrimination Protection of Transsexuals” Published in Volume 57, No. 3 of the Cleveland State Law Review. Shortly after graduation in 2008, Kevin received the Ohio State Bar Association’s Award for Outstanding Scholarship in the Field of Labor and Employment Law.
After moving to California, Kevin was admitted to the California State Bar in 2009. He briefly worked in-house for a large corporation before successfully starting his own firm, Schwin Law, PC. Consistently recognized as an outstanding attorney, he has received numerous awards such as: selection to the Northern California Super Lawyers’ Magazine “Rising Stars” list for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023; selection for a Lifetime Charter Membership in Rue Ratings’ Best Attorneys of America; and selection as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America’s Trial Lawyer Honorary Society.
Kevin is a dedicated member of his community. He regularly volunteers as a food server at the Fresno Rescue Mission, providing meals to the homeless. He also regularly volunteers as a scoring attorney in the Fresno County and Madera County high school mock trial competitions. He volunteered as a Board Member of the Madera County Food Bank from 2012 through 2017. He served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Madera County Food Bank from 2013 through 2017.
Also an avid traveler, Kevin traveled to Italy as an exchange student in 2000-2001. He is fluent in Italian and proficient in French, and he is a former Volunteer Italian instructor. In his free time Kevin also enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing, walking his dogs, and spending time with his family.


Senior Counsel
Mythily Sivarajah ("My-the-lee Siva-raja")has more than a decade of experience solely representing plaintiffs/ employees and she has committed her entire legal career to advocating for workers’ rights and social justice issues. Mythily has broad experience in handling employment and civil rights matters of diverse complexities through all stages of litigation, as demonstrated by her positive results on behalf of numerous plaintiffs against a range of employers and businesses, including public entities. Prior to joining PECK-LAW, Employment & Civil Rights, Mythily practiced at other litigation firms advocating for plaintiffs and workers, where she successfully represented plaintiffs in various employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, sexual assault, wage theft and defamation cases.
Mythily pursued her passion for learning about workplace issues by focusing her undergraduate degree at Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. At Cornell, along with conducting extensive research on workers’ rights, she also became involved with unions and other employment organizations, further bolstering her interest and resolve in making a difference in the lives of aggrieved and injured employees. In 2000, Mythily graduated in three years with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University as a Cornell National Scholar.
Graduating with her Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from the University of San Francisco Law School, Mythily was honored by the American Bar Association/The Bureau of National Affairs with its Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. Mythily also completed an internship with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Legal Unit, and she served the needs of many low-wage employees through her work with a local legal clinic. Following law school, she volunteered her time and efforts with the Centre for Women’s Development and Research in India, focusing primarily on domestic workers rights concerns.
Recognized by her peers as a “Super Lawyer” and a “Rising Star” with Super Lawyers’ Magazine for 2017-2018, Mythily is actively involved with the California Employment Lawyers Association (“CELA”) as co-chair of the Mentorship Committee. She is committed to advancing knowledge of workplace issues, diversity and mentorship amongst her peers, mentees, and other bar associations in the Bay Area. She is a former co-chair of the pro-bono committee for the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California and former co-chair of the bay area chapter of the South Asian Women Attorneys Network.
Mythily enjoys baking and cooking different cuisines, and traveling. Oftentimes, you will find her hiking in the Bay Area’s outdoors with her two kids and their dog Zia. Her favorite colors are green, blue and purple.
